The importance of supporting one another

I recently shared a story about mutual support during the Kumamoto earthquake. There were other heartwarming incidents that occurred there as well.
While some people were living in anxiety during their evacuation, the sight of local residents calling out to each other, sharing necessary information, and helping one another left a very strong impression on the residents.
These difficult circumstances have given us an opportunity to reaffirm the importance of human connection and mutual support.
Even in a clinic setting, it's important for staff to share information with each other on a regular basis so that in times of emergency, they can cooperate with one another, prioritizing the safety of the patients.
We want to cherish the spirit of mutual support that we felt this time in our daily medical practice and disaster preparedness.
I sincerely pray that all those affected by the disaster will be able to return to their peaceful daily lives as soon as possible.
