To ensure you feel at ease during your surgery

The patient was waiting with an anxious expression on their face before surgery.
To help the patient feel as at ease as possible before the surgery, we spoke to them slowly, making eye contact, and listened to their concerns about pain and the surgery.
After that, we explained the current condition and the post-operative progress in an easy-to-understand manner.
"I was scared of the surgery, but I feel relieved now. Thank you."
I received these words of gratitude.
For patients facing surgery, feelings of anxiety are by no means unusual.
That's why this incident made me realize once again how important it is to notice and listen to those feelings.
We will continue to be attentive to each patient's anxieties and strive to provide thorough explanations and attentive listening so that they can receive treatment with peace of mind.
