Nagoya Eye Clinic (hereinafter referred to as "our clinic") strives to provide the best medical services by treating patients and their families sincerely and in response to their trust and expectations. However, some patients and their families who receive treatment, or those related to them, make demands that go beyond the bounds of common sense, or engage in verbal or physical actions that deny the dignity of our staff, violence, sexual harassment, etc., which are serious problems that lead to a deterioration of the work environment and clinical environment (these verbal and physical actions of patients and their families are called "pay harassment"). Our clinic will not tolerate pay harassment, and will take a firm stance against these nuisances in order to respect and protect the human rights of not only our staff, but also other patients and their families.

Guide to using My Number Health Insurance Card

As of December 2024, 12, new issuance of health insurance cards will end, and current health insurance cards will expire on December 2, 2025. At Nagoya Eye Clinic, we have installed a card reader at the reception desk and ask patients who have a My Number card to consent to the My Number health insurance card.

To future school nurses: I gave a lecture on "Children's Eye Health."

On Wednesday, June 3rd, students of the School Nurse Program at the Faculty of Education, Tokai Gakuen University,
I went to give a lesson on "Children's Eye Health."

• About amblyopia and myopia in children
Regarding eye injuries
School nurses (health room teachers) act as a bridge between the field and medical professionals in school health.
Treatment for amblyopia and myopia may involve the use of glasses or contact lenses at school.
Why are those treatments necessary, and what kinds of treatments are they possibly providing?
I went to convey its importance.
Regarding eye injuries, school nurses are the first to address any injuries that occur at school.
Therefore, we will provide first aid for eye-related issues and list "things you want done and things you don't want done."
I shared this from the perspective of an ophthalmologist.
This was my second lecture, following last year's, and there were many very enthusiastic students.
I am deeply moved by how attentively you listen to the lesson.
I'm looking forward to seeing them in action on the job.
